SHL 04. Gulzar — Champagne — The rosette shawl in pure Maisuri chiffon. Full open blooms in fuchsia, teal and marigold are worked across a champagne ground over a tonal leaf field, framed by fine floral bands and finished with coral tassels. A garden carried on the shoulders. Natural variation in stitch and colour is characteristic of the cloth.
Fabric
An embroidered shawl finished in the Hilal atelier, worked in silk floss across the ground and finished with a woven border and tassels. Slight irregularities in stitch and colour are natural and unique to each piece.
Care
Dry clean only. Do not machine wash, soak or bleach. Do not wring. Keep away from perfume and deodorant sprayed directly onto the fabric. Do not iron over the embroidery — press lightly on the reverse, on low heat, with a cloth between the iron and the cloth. Store flat or loosely folded in a breathable cotton cloth, away from damp and direct sunlight. Take care around jewellery and fastenings, which can pull a thread.
