A shawl is worn over everything else, so it is the piece that decides how the whole is read. Ours are worked closely, detailed edge to edge, and finished at the borders where the eye naturally lingers.

Some carry names. Gulzar is a garden of open blooms. Gulnaksh is a tapestry of florals. The rest are known by their colour.

Made to be kept, and then handed on.
