3PC 68. Whisper White —a three-piece in Kani Cotton from the Hilal atelier: an ivory ground with a scalloped motif hem, framed by a border of paisley cartouches worked in rose, saffron and turquoise against apricot. Natural variation in weave and colour is characteristic of the cloth.
Fabric
A cotton-silk blend — the breathability of cotton with the quiet sheen and drape of silk, carrying figured motif work across the field and a deep patterned border. A delicate cloth, finished in the Hilal atelier. Slight irregularities in weave and lustre are natural and unique to each length.
Care
Dry clean only. Do not machine wash or soak. Do not bleach or wring. Keep away from perfume and deodorant sprayed directly onto the fabric. Iron on low heat, on the reverse, with a cloth between the iron and the fabric. Store folded in a breathable cotton cloth, refolding along different lines every few months to rest the fabric. Silk is a living fibre — store away from direct sunlight and damp to preserve its colour and sheen.
