3PC 68. Blue Fog- three-piece in Kani Cotton from the Hilal atelier: a soft grey-blue ground scattered with fine floral and pavilion motifs, framed by an arcaded border of domes, minarets and mountains worked in lilac, blush and gold. Natural variation in weave and colour is characteristic of the cloth.
Fabric
A cotton-silk blend — the breathability of cotton with the quiet sheen and drape of silk, carrying figured motif work across the field and a deep patterned border. A delicate cloth, finished in the Hilal atelier. Slight irregularities in weave and lustre are natural and unique to each length.
Care
Dry clean only. Do not machine wash or soak. Do not bleach or wring. Keep away from perfume and deodorant sprayed directly onto the fabric. Iron on low heat, on the reverse, with a cloth between the iron and the fabric. Store folded in a breathable cotton cloth, refolding along different lines every few months to rest the fabric. Silk is a living fibre — store away from direct sunlight and damp to preserve its colour and sheen.
